The similarities that lightroom and Photoshop have in common are that you can both edit your photos and retouch them. Another is that they own by the same company Adobe Inc. they both have the same type of editing controls. The difference that they both have is that lightroom has a rating system. Lightroom also has more editing options. Photoshop is more for graphic photos and lightroom is more for real photos.
